Who is this for? Why would Disney Channel make several shorts making fun of two of their only ips? Also when did Disney Channel run so low on ideas they had to scrap together shorts to fill air time? I’m so confused by this films existence.

This cartoon is literally a serious critic of modern life and city life. Touchs topics like, sustainability, unmet dreams in the city, economics of being an artist, loss of farming/village, loss of human bond and kindness in the city. I sense anarchist urges behind it. It's kind of a blend of Lefebvre, Marx, Berger, Freud(Civilization and Its Discontents). A couple of books can be written on any episode, it's full of arguments. People behind it, is just genius!

I like the Chibi shorts more than the actual ZOMBIES movies, and I like that some of the shorts acknowledge that ZOMBIES had a really awkward racism metaphor. It was kinda cool seeing the live action Disney Channel stars in Big City Greens style, but overall this special isn’t that great. Maybe it would be better if I was a fan of either ZOMBIES or Big City Greens, I just watched this because its being covered on Escape from Vault Disney.
